(2021)‘Carv’ is a is part of a new panel material project made of people’s memorable paper scraps.
This panel has various applications including furinture, interior, object design.
Carv stool preserve precious memories in hard resin object.
Saddle is made of the paper scraps and resin. Mix them with the pigments and pour in to saddle mould and let dry.
The one-of-a-kind stool that changes depending on what kind of scrap is put in is created.
The frame of the stool is made up with one peice of iron pate.
Cutting, bending, welding the iron plate with the CNC machine.
We did a lot of experiments to try to find out the best color, hardness, finish of the resin.
Through this process, we can create a unique CMF with resin and paper.
